🪙 Coinbase has announced plans to allow the use of the USDC stablecoin in futures trading. This was reported by The Block with reference to a press release.
🗣️ The statement says that the clearing company Nodal Clear will work on the implementation. The parties have already collaborated on the launch of 24-hour futures on Bitcoin and Ethereum, follows from the press release.
🧑💼 Nodal Clear CEO Paul Kusenza added that the integration of USDC is a “consistent step towards innovation” that takes into account the needs of the market.
