Israel says it killed Iran's military coordinator with Hamas
Israel claims it has killed Saeed Izadi, a senior Iranian commander linked to Hamas's 7 October 2023 attack.
The IDF says he was one of the key planners of the attack that killed about 1,200 Israelis.
Izadi led the Palestine Corps of Iran’s Quds Force, managing ties with Hamas.
He reportedly financed, armed, and coordinated with Hamas leaders.
He had survived a previous Israeli strike in Damascus in April 2024.
On the same day, Israel also killed Behnam Shahriyari, another Quds Force commander.
Shahriyari helped transport weapons to Hamas and Hezbollah.
These strikes mark a major blow to Iran’s Quds Force if confirmed.
Iran hasn't officially acknowledged the deaths yet.
The conflict between Iran and Israel has now entered its ninth day.
