Semler Scientific Appoints Bitcoin Strategic Director, Plans to Hold 105,000 Bitcoins by the End of 2027

​The American publicly traded company Semler Scientific announced the appointment of Joe Burnett as the Bitcoin Strategic Director and set a Bitcoin reserve target for the next three years: to hold at least 10,000 Bitcoins by the end of 2025, increase to 42,000 by the end of 2026, and reach 105,000 by the end of 2027. The company will advance its Bitcoin accumulation through equity, debt financing, and operating cash flow. Chairman Eric Semler stated that Burnett's addition will support the company's long-term Bitcoin strategic goals. Since adopting Bitcoin as its primary reserve asset in 2024, the company has achieved approximately 287% Bitcoin yield and $177 million in book gains. #BTC
