Ethereum Beast Battle: Ancient Giant Whale Cashing Out vs Institutions Buying in Bulk, Is the Market About to Change?

Recently, the Ethereum market has been quite interesting, with early large holders selling while institutions are buying, both sides are at odds.

A veteran player who participated in Ethereum back in 2015 recently sold 1,000 ETH, cashing out over a million dollars. Although he still holds over 30,000 coins, this action is quite thought-provoking. On the other hand, institutions related to LiaoDe Capital are crazily buying, just withdrawing over 1,000 ETH from Binance, now holding a total of 140,000 coins, clearly optimistic about the long term.

This situation is actually quite critical; large holders selling may cause a short-term price drop, but institutions continuously buying are supporting the bottom. The Bitcoin side is similar, with big funds playing, and retail participation is low. During such times, the market often makes significant moves, either crashing down or rallying up. The short-term volatility may be considerable, but with institutions buying so aggressively, they might be preparing for a significant market trend ahead.

Now we just have to see which of these two groups is stronger. We small retail investors need to stay alert, don’t get shaken out of our positions, and don’t get stuck at the top.
