Former CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao urged all crypto platforms to implement a "will" mechanism (will function), so users can determine in advance who and in what shares their assets will go to after death.
According to industry estimates, due to the lack of such procedures on exchanges, over $1 billion (!) worth of crypto assets belonging to deceased owners are "locked" each year.
