Powell's speech theme is 'Wait and See', neither bullish nor bearish!
Today Powell spoke, and the cryptocurrency market responded relatively calmly.
The Fed's dot plot still indicates two expected rate cuts of 50 basis points this year, consistent with the expectations from March, which was not surprising and not bearish; at the same time, Powell's somewhat hawkish speech last night is certainly not bullish.
This time, Powell's stance is very clear, focusing only on two points;
1. The expiration of the '90-day suspension of reciprocal tariffs' on July 9, a policy of the Trump administration.
2. Whether the U.S. will participate in the Israel-Iran conflict recently, which could have a huge impact on the U.S.
So, it's right for us in the cryptocurrency space to follow Powell's line of thinking, and we must not complicate simple issues.
