🇺🇸 The US Senate approved the GENIUS stablecoin bill
The American bill GENIUS (Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins) received support from 68 senators, while 30 opposed it.
The initiative by Republican Senator Bill Hagerty creates conditions for the legal use of stablecoins in instant payments for businesses and citizens.
In May, Democrats, including two co-authors, initially did not support the project but later agreed to consider it.
