🤖 OpenAI has signed a contract with the U.S. Department of Defense
The U.S. Department of Defense's Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence Agency has signed an agreement with OpenAI for $200 million. The company will provide the agency with AI tools.
OpenAI will create prototypes of AI solutions to "address critically important national security tasks" in military and governmental fields.
The work will primarily be carried out in Washington and the surrounding region, with project completion scheduled for July 2026.
