Trump's platform for cryptocurrencies, known as "World Liberty Financial," was launched in October 2024 by the sons of former American president Donald Trump, Donald Jr., Eric, and Barron, in collaboration with other businessmen. The platform aims to offer decentralized finance (DeFi) services, such as lending and borrowing using dollar-backed stablecoins, in order to provide an alternative to traditional banks.
