President Donald Trump declares that the United States is not involved in the latest conflict between Israel and Iran.
"The United States has nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
Iran has warned the United States and its allies not to help Israel stop retaliatory strikes from Tehran.
"If we are attacked in any way by Iran, the full force and power of the U.S. armed forces will come down on you at levels never seen before," Trump added. "However, we can easily reach an agreement between Iran and Israel, and put an end to this bloody conflict!!!"

On June 14, 2025, Trump stated, via Truth Social, following a phone call of about an hour with Vladimir Putin, that "this war in Israel–Iran should end." He added that Putin shared this view, emphasizing however that the war in Ukraine must also come to an end.

The next day, on June 15, Trump issued a strong warning: he indicated that any Iranian attack on U.S. interests or forces would be punished by "the full force of the U.S. armed forces… at levels never seen before." He also reiterated that the United States was not involved in the Israeli strikes, nor in the Iranian response.
