President Donald Trump states that the United States is not involved in the latest conflict between Israel and Iran.
"The United States has nothing to do with the attack against Iran, tonight," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
Iran has warned the United States and its allies not to help Israel stop retaliatory strikes from Tehran.
"If we are attacked in any way by Iran, all the force and power of the American armed forces will come down on you at levels never seen before," adds Trump. "However, we can easily conclude an agreement between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!"

On June 14, 2025, Trump stated, via Truth Social, following a phone call of about an hour with Vladimir Putin, that "this war in Israel–Iran should end". He added that Putin shared this view, emphasizing that the war in Ukraine must also come to an end.

Trump also encouraged Tehran to seize this moment to negotiate a new nuclear agreement. He explained that Iran now had a "second chance" to accept a compromise before being hit "even more brutally".
