Honestly, designing a national flag is much harder than tweeting!
Just look at those classic designs, like the Maple Leaf and the Union Jack; which of them is not simple enough for a three-year-old to draw?
The key is that it has to withstand the elements—if it fades after two washes on a T-shirt, or shrinks into a mobile icon and turns into a mess, that would truly be performance art!
So, whether it's a national flag or an emoji, practicality and recognizability are the hard truths!
