Ripple has invested another $5 million! This time, the focus is on Asian universities for blockchain research, and I am optimistic about this direction!

Ripple is making a big move again! This time, they are not directly investing in projects, but have allocated $5 million (approximately 36 million RMB) specifically to several top universities in the Asia-Pacific region to support research and talent development in blockchain technology.

Singapore: AI meets blockchain!

Ripple's funding goes to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. The professor team there is very excited, as they are planning to use this money to develop a "self-governing AI agent network" on Ripple's own blockchain system. I think this direction is very cutting-edge; the combination of AI and blockchain is a major trend worth noting.

Taiwan, China: Exploring the "digitization" of physical assets

This collaboration has added National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) in Taiwan. After receiving the funding, they will focus on researching something called "tokenization of physical assets." Professors in Taiwan believe this can unlock new value and bring innovation.

Australia, South Korea, Japan: Continued investment!

Australia: Ripple is collaborating with the Australian National University (ANU) to primarily support the establishment of blockchain courses and research. Including this investment, Ripple's total investment in Australian universities has reached $1.3 million. It seems they place great importance on the Australian market and education.

South Korea: Over the past six years, Ripple has invested $1.1 million in South Korean universities, focusing on research in blockchain technology and security. South Korea has always been very competitive in the tech field, so this investment is not surprising.

Looking long-term: Ripple's $5 million is not for speculating on cryptocurrencies, nor is it direct support for startups (though they do that too), but is solidly invested in universities for research and education. After all, for technology to develop, talent is fundamental.

Just looking at Ripple's continuous and substantial investment in technological research and talent development, especially in the potentially vast Asia-Pacific region, this itself is a positive signal.
