The Hyperliquid token (HYPE) has reached a new record high, exceeding the $42 mark for the first time in its history, following a jump of over 8% during trading on June 11, 2025, amid strong buying momentum from major investors, and a noticeable increase in trading volume and market confidence.
The price of the token surged to $42.07, driven by a wave of optimism sweeping the cryptocurrency market, following a strong recovery after a sharp decline last week that brought the price down to around $30. The trading volume also rose to over $500 million within 24 hours, while the market capitalization of the token reached $14 billion.
Data from 'Spot On Chain' revealed a massive transaction made by a major investor, who purchased over 259,000 HYPE tokens worth nearly $10 million, as part of a series of moves that realized profits exceeding $10 million from trading the token.
Several notable transactions were also recorded, including the purchase of 70,617 tokens at a price of $35.40, 28,500 tokens at a price of $35.09, and another transaction of 57,372 tokens at a price of $24.95, indicating a broad accumulation wave.
This intense activity comes in conjunction with rapid developments in the Hyperliquid project, most notably strategic partnerships and new integrations that have enhanced the strength of the network and its appeal to users and investors.
