According to Wu's report, citing Reuters, the assets held by cryptocurrency funds reached an all-time high in May. Data from Morningstar on 294 cryptocurrency funds shows that these funds attracted a net inflow of $7.05 billion last month, the highest level since December of last year, bringing the total assets under management to a record $167 billion. In contrast to cryptocurrency funds, Lipper data shows that global equity funds experienced a net outflow of $5.9 billion in May, while gold funds saw their first net outflow in 15 months, amounting to $678 million.
