The registration deadline for the National High School Exam (Enem) 2025 has been extended until June 13, according to the Ministry of Education (MEC). The deadline was supposed to end at 11:59 PM this Friday (6).

According to the Ministry of Education (MEC), the decision was made to give more time for interested parties to secure the opportunity. The ministry also stated that it will carry out a major mobilization in the states to encourage registration for the exam.

So far, the number of registrants exceeds 5 million. In 2024, there were 4,325,960.

The tests will be held on November 9 and 16, except for the municipalities of Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba in Pará, where the tests will be held on November 30 and December 7.

Those who did not obtain a waiver from the registration fee must pay R$ 85 by June 11, via bank slip, PIX, or credit card.

Step by step for registration in Enem 2025

  1. Access the Participant Page and click on 'Registration' (WARNING: registration must be done solely through the website enem.inep.gov.br/participante).

  2. Select the image indicated in the challenge guidelines.

  3. Provide the CPF, date of birth, and click on 'Start registration'.

  4. Check your data, read the guidelines, and click on 'Next'.

  5. Provide the father's name or select 'I do not want to declare'.

  6. Fill in the details of gender, race/color, marital status, and nationality.

  7. Provide your state and municipality of birth.

  8. Enter the ZIP code and click on 'Next'.

  9. Confirm the address and additional information.

  10. Indicate if you need accessibility resources and specify which ones.

  11. Transvestite, transgender, or transsexual participants who have their social name registered with the Federal Revenue Service can choose to use their social name at this stage.

  12. Choose the foreign language (English or Spanish).

  13. Provide the high school situation.

  14. Answer the socioeconomic questionnaire.

  15. Provide a phone number and email for contact.

  16. Choose the municipality where the test will be held.

  17. Send a photo of the participant.

  18. Confirm personal information and the choices of foreign language, municipality for taking the exam.

  19. Click on 'Submit Registration'.

  20. Check the proof and registration number.

  21. Log in to the Participant Page with CPF and gov.br password.

  22. Click on 'Payment/Exemption' and download the payment slip.

  23. Choose the payment method and pay the registration fee — it is also possible to pay with PIX or credit card, in the bank's app, at a bank branch, or at the lottery house.
