The liquidity withdrawal was really unfortunate due to not acting in time; these past few months have tested mobility with strategy adjustments. Sonic, the leading DEX, plummeted. I invested around 30-40 thousand dollars in the 40-50 range, sold some and held onto 350 coins. After the trading competition, buying volume sharply decreased, the altcoin season ended, and the price was halved from 60; I couldn't sell and had to stake instead. I rarely open the EVM wallet, forgot to liquidate, and by the time I remembered, it was too late. Sonic is relatively strong among Alt Layer 1s, but most other coins on different chains have fared worse.
There are two lessons:
1. Limited energy means only choosing the best opportunities.
2. Attention barbell strategy: focus on the hottest or undervalued areas.
It's difficult to align knowledge with action; I repeatedly make the first mistake, even knowing my energy is limited, I still dabble in unfamiliar projects. Unless rigorously analyzed, it's hard to endure small bull and bear cycles. The saying 'not regularly monitoring = not heavily invested = hard to make big money' mostly holds true and needs to change.
If Sonic can withstand the selling pressure from the airdrop, its fundamentals may surpass Sui. The survival of leading DEXs is hugely impactful, as seen in the Cetus incident. Although many coins struggle to produce a third wave, I hope the staking choice is correct.
