In past Bitcoin cycles, the proportion of mid-to-long-term holding volumes steadily decreased, leading to a consistent rise in Bitcoin’s price. As new capital flowed into the market, the latter part of the cycle often saw altcoins experience significant surges as well.

However, in the current cycle, Bitcoin repeatedly faces corrections after small gains, and during these periods, altcoins suffer sharp declines, showing overall weakness.

At this stage of the cycle, it’s nearly impossible to find investors making profits with altcoins. Yet, as the cycle approaches its final stages, Bitcoin’s dominance is likely to decrease, and altcoins may see steeper rises than in previous patterns, potentially marking the end of the cycle.

It’s not time to abandon hope just yet. Since we’re already in the latter half of the cycle, it’s worth waiting for Bitcoin’s next upward move.
