👀 Elon Musk ends his term in government, affirming that the DOGE mission continues
On May 28, Elon Musk announced the end of his role as a "Special Government Employee" on platform X. He thanked President Trump for the opportunity to help cut wasteful spending, while affirming that DOGE will continue to be "a way of life" in government.
Although previously, Musk had hoped to cut $1 trillion in federal spending, it is clear that DOGE had not achieved that goal by the time he left.
