# **Features | Hundreds of People Want to be Preserved to be Revived in the Future**

Tomorrow Bio, a German biotechnology startup, launched a service for preserving deceased human bodies. This is done to potentially revive these individuals using future technology.

This service is known in the medical field as cryopreservation, where the deceased human body is cooled to -196 degrees Celsius following the medical declaration of death.

Once the long cooling process is completed, the human body will be stored in a pod, which is placed inside a cryogenic tube filled with liquid nitrogen. The body can be stored indefinitely, without requiring electricity, though the liquid nitrogen needs to be replenished periodically.

The goal of this preservation is for future medical needs. This human cryopreservation will keep the deceased preserved until medical technology advances enough to cure the diseases that caused death and revive them.

"As our understanding of biology deepens, it becomes clear to scientists that diseases and aging are not inevitable, but problems that can be solved by science," writes Tomorrow Bio on its official website.

Moreover, this technology will continue to be refined in the future so that patients with chronic and severe diseases, who have a small chance of survival, can live longer.

So far, Tomorrow Bio has preserved 6 humans and 5 pets. Additionally, more than 650 people have registered for preservation. The company also provides emergency services and standby teams in several cities across Europe.
