Altcoin Analysis 05/16/2025

We continue to follow the plan here in Altcoins. We have finally risen above the green range on the chart, which was our main short-term goal.

The gray range around $1.25 T is our new target; we need to break that region to have a continuation of the upward trend for the altcoins.

Our support (now in the green range just below) should be avoided at all costs; it doesn't seem as strong as it should, so I don't think it's a good idea to let the prices test there for too long.

Unfortunately, we are entering the weekend, and this is always terrible. I naturally don't like weekends, and regarding the market, it is ALMOST always too disastrous, however, it is what we have. In light of this, I added a small yellow range around $1.2 T; this range is where we need to keep the prices so that we can start next week on a good note.

ETH/BTC still looks very good to be honest, let's see if it can lead the Altcoins; it has been a failure most of the time, but I think it can do differently now.

I made an observation in the last post that proved to be 100% true and is still quite useful, I will repeat:

"If we are looking at this chart along with the Dominance of USDT and BTC, it’s impossible not to be optimistic about Altcoins, and it’s not about tomorrow, it’s about the coming days, weeks, and months."

The price of Bitcoin is literally crushing the BEARS; the sellers are having to exert too much strength to keep prices below $105K, which doesn’t seem very easy for them, and the Bear Perps are having issues, as their sales are being quickly absorbed by the Perp buyers.

A breakout here and the BEARS will have completely lost the game, as we will go up to $1.47 T and eliminate the few bearish structures we still have in shorter time frames.

I remain extremely OPTIMISTIC about Altcoins!
