Now the real question: If you had that windfall of Bitcoin, would you spend any of it… or simply HODL? In crypto lingo, to “HODL” is just a (hilarious) typo-turned-meme meaning “hold on for dear life” – i.e. never sell. After all, hodling 10,000 BTC could fund a small moon mission! 🚀 But hey, maybe celebrating Pizza Day with a slice on the house is tempting? Only 0.00001 BTC per pizza, right? 😂 If you weren’t the one who spent those coins back in 2010, you’d probably HODL now.
🚀 Time-Travel & To the Moon
It’s a wild crypto time-travel thought experiment. If Marty McFly had Bitcoin, he might screech “88 mph!” to head back and tell his past self, “Don’t spend it on pizza!” 😅 But since no DeLorean exists (yet), the next best thing is memes. We joke about Bitcoin going to the moon 🚀 – and here it is, orbiting Mars by now. If 10,000 BTC paid for pizza then, maybe it could buy infinite pizza slices today! (Or at least fund a real rocket to fly to the moon… with extra cheese.) 😜
💸 What Would You Do?
With a stash that huge, the spend/HODL dilemma is almost Shakespearean. Do you cash out a tiny sliver (say 1 BTC) for a Lambo or a bitcoin pizza party? 🍕 Or do you HODL that billion-dollar fortune and watch it (hopefully) keep rising? The crypto crowd sure has opinions.
