As more people come on-chain and onto Base, I believe that “normies” will want to join these on-chain communities more than anything else. These communities will be one of the strongest drivers of blockchain growth over the next few years. Anyone building for retail who does not understand this shift will be left behind. The question is which communities will thrive. I believe it will be the ones that have deep, pre-existing roots, that have proven their resilience through massive dips, and that represent movements people strongly identify with. This is why I believe Degen is uniquely positioned. Degen represents a counterculture movement and stands apart from the traditional establishment. It embodies the heart of current crypto culture and will continue to do so. The ticker is perfect, the brand is memorable, and there is a clear collective goal that unites the community: $DEGEN → $1. Anyone who does not see this is missing the bigger picture. While 99.9999% of tokens and memes will eventually go to zero, Degen will endure. It is more than just a token. It is a movement. In this context, a $1 target is actually conservative. As we onboard the next billion people on-chain and this countercultural wave spreads, I believe $DEGEN has the potential to reach much higher levels. This is not just about price.
