The world's largest asset management company is increasing its bets on artificial intelligence (AI) within its model portfolios in the U.S., while reducing overall equity exposure due to tariff uncertainties. BlackRock is increasing its exposure to AI through the iShares AI Innovation and Tech Active ETF (ticker BAI) in its portfolio with a high equity allocation. The actively managed fund attracted approximately $436 million in inflows on Tuesday, marking the largest single-day net inflow since its inception last October, and the fund size has increased fourfold as a result.
