In the past few hours, Bitcoin's price trend has improved again, just a step away from setting a new all-time high, but then it was obstructed and slightly fell.
The daily charts of most altcoins have shown slight increases, with ETH maintaining around the $2,500 level and ADA rising by 2.5%.
Is a new BTC high coming?
Bitcoin has experienced a highly volatile period, surprisingly starting over the weekend. After a quiet Saturday, with prices around $103,000, this cryptocurrency launched an impressive offensive on Sunday evening, ultimately stopping at $106,000.
After a brief pullback, the bulls increased their offensive again, pushing Bitcoin to a multi-month high, exceeding $107,000. Subsequently, Bitcoin faced another sharp pullback, closing below $102,500 on Monday.
However, the bears failed to suppress Bitcoin for long, as the price of Bitcoin soared to $107,000 on Tuesday. Initially, Bitcoin could not break through this level, but after a brief pullback, it eventually succeeded. Today in the Asian early session, the price of Bitcoin (on Bitstamp) surged to slightly above $108,000, meaning it is less than 1% away from its all-time high.

However, its upward trend has been obstructed again, with the current BTC trading price below $107,000. Its market cap has surged to $2.12 trillion, accounting for nearly 61% of the market cap of other altcoins.

Trump Stock
The day before Trump dined with top holders, this meme coin surged over 11%, with the current trading price exceeding $14. The daily increase of PI closely followed (9%), with its price rising by 0.8%. Uniswap ranked third with a daily increase of 6%, with a trading price breaking $6.35.
Other large market cap altcoins have mostly seen slight increases, with ADA rising the most at 2.5%. In contrast, HYPE fell slightly more than 1%, while LINK, SUI, and TRX had minimal declines.
The total market cap of cryptocurrencies increased by over $50 billion in one day, reaching $3.48 trillion on CG.
