How long can you hold on to contracts?
A shocking set of data: over 90% of exchange contract accounts survive only 3-6 months. In other words, 9 out of 10 lose money, and losing everything within six months is the norm.
Many people are unwilling to accept this, and after losing everything, they grit their teeth, recharge, and fight again, only to face the fate of losing everything again a few months later, until they are forced to leave in despair. In this brutal market, the longer the contract account survives, the lower the survival probability — the 5-year survival rate is less than 3%, and the 10-year rate is even less than 1%.
I have seen too many 'veterans' in the crypto world, who once held hundreds of BTC but lost everything overnight due to contract trading, which is truly regrettable. Market risks are ever-present; either strictly adhere to stop-loss thresholds or stay away from contracts, preserving the principal is the key.
