Dubai investor Sahil Aurora, who has created over 100 meme coins, shared the easiest way to earn money.

It is easiest to amass capital by issuing meme tokens and selling them as soon as a profit arises. Right now, this [meme coin space] is the largest casino on Earth. If I don't rob you, someone else will. So it's better to give your money to a successful person rather than some random internet user, said Aurora.

The method of making profit described by Sahil refers to a fraudulent scheme known as a Rug pull. Creators of cryptocurrencies who resort to this type of scam keep a large amount of the issued digital assets for themselves and get rid of the coins when their price rises. This always leads to a sharp drop in the token's price, and ordinary investors suffer huge losses.

Aurora keeps 25% to 40% of the supply of meme coins he created until their value increases to the expected level thanks to social media marketing campaigns. Then he sells the coins he owns and transfers the obtained cryptocurrency to centralized exchanges, obviously for subsequent exchange for fiat currency. Using this scheme, he earned about $30 million as of August 2024.

Among the meme coins released by Sahil in 2025 was BROCCOLI, named after the dog of former Binance exchange CEO Changpeng Zhao. Aurora boasts that the dump of these coins, which fell by 96%, enriched him by $6.5 million, and he takes pride in being called a 'supervillain.'
