Recently, the Meme coin issuance platforms on the Solana chain are really heating up! Pump.fun, as one of the earliest platforms to gain popularity, was quite glorious last year, issuing over 8 million tokens in just 13 months, with a peak of 36,000 new coins in a single day, averaging 25 every minute—such speed is incredible!
However, problems have also arisen:
- 99% of tokens don't last more than a few days
- 90% of users are losing money
- The platform made $98 million in just six months
Now the competition is getting fiercer, Raydium launched a LaunchLab to grab the business, with a fee of only 1%, which is half the price of Pump.fun. There’s also a platform called Believe that plays even smarter; you can directly issue coins by mentioning them on Twitter, and creators can earn a 1% share of the transaction revenue.
Currently, it seems that:
- Pump.fun's market share has dropped from monopoly to 57%
- New platforms are all offering creator revenue sharing
- Multi-chain competition has also begun
Who do you think will win in the end? The cheap and easy-to-use LaunchLab, the clever Believe, or the veteran Pump.fun? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments! If you want to know more about Meme coin trends, you can follow me!
