Bitcoin could reach US$$ 220 thousand in 2025, projections based on gold indicate
Recent studies suggest that Bitcoin may reach values between US$$ 220 thousand and US$$ 250 thousand in 2025, driven by dynamics similar to gold and a growth model known as the “power curve”.
The analysis assumes that Bitcoin tends to follow the movement of gold with some delay. With the precious metal priced at US$$ 3.500 per ounce, the scenario appears favorable for a significant appreciation of BTC.
According to analyst Apsk32, the appreciation of Bitcoin in relation to gold has been advancing since April. He uses the metric of Bitcoin's market value measured in ounces of gold, adjusting this data to a logarithmic growth curve. This model suggests that if the trend continues, Bitcoin could reach up to US$$ 444 thousand in an optimistic scenario. However, a more reasonable target for next year would be US$$ 220 thousand.
Although he acknowledges that surpassing US$$ 250 thousand would be an outlier result, Apsk32 believes that the probability is not negligible.
Another study, from In Gold We Trust, reinforces this view. Analyst Sam Callahan estimates that if gold reaches US$$ 5.000 per ounce by the end of the decade and Bitcoin absorbs 50% of its market value, the price of the cryptocurrency could approach US$$ 1 million.
These projections reinforce the thesis of Bitcoin as a digital store of value and indicate that the asset continues to attract investors seeking protection amid the instability of traditional markets.
