#EthereumSecurityInitiative
The "Trillion Dollar Security Initiative" is a project launched by the Ethereum Foundation in May 2025, aimed at enhancing the security of the Ethereum network to support large-scale usage and securely store massive financial assets.
Objectives of the Initiative
The initiative aims to achieve a secure environment where users and institutions can:
Safely store more than $1000 per user on the network, collectively securing trillions of dollars.
Enable institutions and governments to store over a trillion dollars in a single smart contract or decentralized application on Ethereum.
Implementation Phases
The initiative consists of three main phases:
1. Full-Stack Security Map Drawing: Identifying the strengths and weaknesses in the infrastructure of the Ethereum network, including user experience, wallet security, smart contracts, cloud infrastructure, and protocol security.
2. Key Domain Breakthroughs: Addressing discovered security vulnerabilities by implementing urgent improvements and allocating investments for long-term enhancement projects.
3. Security Awareness Upgrade: Communicating with the community to explain Ethereum's security features, allowing users to evaluate security standards and compare them with other systems.
