Sarjis demands justice for Samya murder

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) in the northern region, has demanded justice for the murder of DU student Shahriar Alam. He made this demand in a post on his verified Facebook ID around 8 am on Wednesday (May 14).
At the same time, he demanded a 24-hour drive to stop all kinds of misdeeds in Suhrawardy Udyan.
Sarjis Alam wrote, over time, Suhrawardy Udyan has become a haven for various misdeeds including extortion, drug use.
However, despite the presence of various units and offices of the law enforcement agencies adjacent to this park, they have become partners in these misdeeds without taking strict action against them. As a result, we have seen many of our brothers and sisters go astray, and several deaths have occurred.
