At the start of April, the price of BTC began to steadily recover to set up a healthy crypto market just in time for a recovery back to 6-digit prices in the month of May.
Soon after Bitcoin pumped to over the $100,000 price mark, the price of the pioneer altcoin asset Ethereum (ETH) pumped exponentially as well. In detail, the price of ETH pumped passed $2,000 to hit a price over the $2,500 price range for the first time in 60 days. The fact that the price of ETH has finally pumped is a very bullish sign for those waiting for this bull cycle’s peak altseason phase.
To highlight, altseason was expected to arrive in Q1, because historically, the altseason peak of every bull cycle has always arrived in Q1 following a Bitcoin Halving year. This year, however, altseason seems to have been delayed to balance out the market due to Bitcoin’s fast and early price pump. Since then, analysts have been certain that altseason will only arrive after ETH starts to pump, and possibly after ETH reclaims its previous ATH in the $4,000 price range.
