On May 10, PANews reported that Ki Young Ju, the founder and CEO of CryptoQuant, stated on the X platform that Bitcoin is deflationary, and that Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) is purchasing Bitcoin faster than it is being mined. They hold approximately 555,000 bitcoins, which are in a non-liquid state with no plans to sell. This means that Strategy's Bitcoin holdings can achieve an annual deflation rate of -2.23%, and other stable institutional holders may have even higher deflation rates for their Bitcoin.
