Back in 2021, I was still on Huobi and encountered the big pullback on 5/19. That pullback cost nearly 30 million, and it would be a lie to say I wasn't heartbroken. But it was after that, that I began to pay more attention to pullbacks and risk management.

I persisted all the way until early 2023, and into the first half of 2024, my overall situation has been getting better. Not only did I recover all the losses from before, but my capital size has also increased significantly compared to the bull market in 2021.

In March and April 2024, the market was generally shouting “Altcoin Season”. By that time, I had basically cashed out. Although selling a half-position of Bitcoin at over 70,000 was a bit regrettable, overall, I avoided quite a few pitfalls. Especially with ETH and altcoins this time, I didn't rely on previous experiences to heavily invest, which allowed me to escape a disaster. After all, in the previous cycle, ETH and altcoins did perform better and made more profit.

I did miss some rebound opportunities in between.

But looking back overall, it was worth it.
