The global payments platform "Stripe" has launched stablecoin accounts for its customers in over 100 countries.

According to an announcement made on May 7, the new feature will allow platform customers to "send, receive, and hold balances in stablecoin accounts denominated in US dollars, similar to how traditional bank accounts operate."
