The Minister of Defense of Pakistan stated readiness to end the military conflict with India, but under one condition
Pakistan is ready to end the military conflict with India if New Delhi also agrees to it. This statement was made by the Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic Khawaja Asif in an interview with Bloomberg TV.
"Over the past two weeks, we have consistently stated that we will never take hostile actions against India. But if we are attacked, we will respond. If India retreats, we will certainly put an end to this tension," Asif said.
Recall that on the night of May 7, India, in response to the shooting of tourists in Kashmir, carried out missile strikes on several targets in Pakistan. Pakistan stated that in response it shot down five Indian fighters and destroyed the headquarters of an army brigade.
As reported on the morning of May 7 by Reuters, citing the spokesperson for the Armed Forces of Pakistan, as a result of the Indian Air Force strikes on Pakistan, 26 people were killed and another 46 were injured.
