Vance stated that the U.S. will not intervene in the conflict between India and Pakistan, reports The Guardian.
'What we can do is try to urge these people to reduce tensions a bit, but we are not going to intervene in the midst of a war that is essentially not our business and has nothing to do with America's ability to control it,' Vance said in an interview with Fox News.
He says that the U.S. cannot force either side with nuclear weapons to stop the escalation, and therefore Washington will 'continue to pursue this through diplomatic channels'.
