At this time, the government of Bhutan has officially launched the world's first national cryptocurrency travel payment system along with Binance Pay and local digital bank DK Bank.
With this move, Bhutan has become the first country to allow cryptocurrency payments across the entire tourism ecosystem.
With this collaboration, Binance Pay users can now use cryptocurrency to pay for nearly any item on any trip to Bhutan.
In Binance's official statement, they clarified that tourists can now make real-time cryptocurrency payments through the Binance app.
The system supports over 100 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Binance Coin (BNB), and USDC, and allows instant payments in local currency through DK Bank.

Tourists can now pay with cryptocurrency for flights, visas, accommodations, guides, and even items at street markets through a network of over 100 supported vendors.
