Bitcoin stable – Ethereum in position for major upgrade

Here is my daily review and outlook:

On May 4, 2025, $BTC stayed stable – no fireworks, but solid performance. $ETH lost about 2% and settled just above 1,800 USD. The market remains cautious but attentive.

Today, on May 5, the focus is fully on the upcoming Ethereum upgrade "Pectra" on May 7. Improvements in staking and account abstraction could bring fresh momentum – or at least increase volatility.

Tip: ETH traders should adjust stop-loss levels – price jumps (in both directions) are possible.
