Increased ETH Accumulation as Investors Anticipate Short-Term Price Surge: CQ

Ethereum (ETH) is demonstrating a new trend, with long-term holders increasing their positions despite recent price fluctuations. A CryptoQuant report revealed a 22% increase in holdings by accumulating addresses in less than two months. This suggests a renewed structural conviction among investors.

The volume of ETH held by these addresses has risen from 15.53 million to 19.03 million tokens since March, as falling prices have led investors to purchase more. Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe suggests that the price chart of Ethereum is forming a falling wedge, often a precursor to bullish breakouts.

Despite a 10% surge in the last fortnight, Ethereum's performance over the past year remains lackluster, with a price decrease of over 42%.
