Is cryptocurrency legal in Pakistan?
Currently, cryptocurrency in Pakistan is neither fully legal nor illegal. The State Bank has prohibited financial institutions from transacting in cryptocurrency; however, ordinary people are still using cryptocurrency on international exchanges. The government is working on regulating cryptocurrency, and formal legislation is expected soon.
