📚 DAY 9 - Learn all Crypto terms in 30 days
🔹 1. DYOR (Do Your Own Research)
→ "Do your own research before entering a trade" – a common phrase in the crypto community.
📌 Meaning: don't just trust KOLs, groups, or FOMO from the crowd.
🔎 Need to check yourself:
- Tokenomics
- Is the developer real?
- Volume/liquidity
- Unlock schedule, large holding wallets
⚠️ Everyone says "DYOR", but how many actually do it?
🔹 2. Bag Holder
→ A person who still "holds coins" even though it has dropped multiple times and shows no signs of recovery.
📉 Example: Bought $PEPE at ATH, now down 80% and still... waiting to break even.
📌 Emotions of holding on: regret, hope, reluctance to cut losses.
🔹 3. Paper Hand
→ A person who sells coins too early, unable to hold for long.
📌 Buys a token with potential, but sells after just a small profit out of fear of losing.
⚠️ Result: Often sees the price pump strongly right after they... finish selling.
🔹 4. Pump and Dump
→ A trick to push the coin's price through rumors/hype → then sell off immediately afterward.
📌 Commonly occurs with new coins, low cap, not yet listed on major exchanges.
Signs:
- Sudden price increase, strong volume spike
- Influencers posting to "pump the price"
- Developer sells right afterward
