Race of the day on Sunday takes us up the road to Saratoga Raceway for their 6 runner field in an Open Handicap race.
The Field
#1 KOMODO BEACH - Previously trained by Travis Alexander, Komodo steps back up into a grade he's raced previously. Drawn perfectly and his best would see him right in the finish.
#2 ROCK SOLID EXPRESS - Another who returns to this level after a few below standard efforts back in February. His form has improved since then and he likes a good draw but this looks a step to far.
#3 HUNTANOVER - Has been running very well in this kind of company. Times are on the board. He should be in the finish.
#4 UNRIVALLED HANOVER - Impressive run last time out from P7 saw him win in 1:53 flat. Another repeat of that would see him go close.
#5 PIRATE HANOVER - The Pirate has ran well in his last two runs in this grade, finishing second both times. Expect him to be flashing home late.
#6 MR MCLAREN N - The horse to beat! Only his 3rd start since moving from the Southern Hemisphere having finished 3rd two runs back and 1st last time out, both in this class. Drawn wide but should be in the finish.
