Lochlan Hanover returns to Yonkers TONIGHT at 8:25PM EST🔥
After a strong first-up run at Pocono, he’s fitter, sharper, and ready to strike. Fastest closing sectional last start, he’s primed for a big showing. 💪
Lochlan Hanover makes his long-awaited return to the track on Tuesday in Race 8, lining up for his first start in over a month following minor surgery to address a breathing issue.
Time - 3.06PM Day - Tuesday Date - 22nd July Class - NW2EXTPM Track - Pocono Downs
The talented three-year-old has drawn post position six and is expected to take benefit from the run as he builds back his race fitness. While Tuesday’s outing may come with some rust, he’s likely to improve with the hit-out under his belt.
We'll keep you posted on any further updates ahead of race day.
Great news, Travis is already on the lookout for a race for Lochlan this week as he begins his comeback following minor surgery.
We’re absolutely thrilled to have him back in work. The procedure has healed nicely, and he’s been training well over the past week, showing us all the signs that he’s ready to return to the track.
We had originally expected a longer layoff, especially given how things progressed with Nymeria. But Lochlan has responded extremely well to treatment, and at this stage, the inflammation has cleared and the site is completely healed.
We’ll be back in touch once we’ve found a suitable race to kick off Lochlan’s return.
KINDA LUCKY LINDY finished 7th today at Pocono Downs.
Lucky ran okay. He settled near the rear of the field, with the race run at a solid tempo throughout.
With a fast pace up front, a winning time of 1:52.4 and an opening quarter in 26.4, the race didn’t suit Lucky’s style, and he wasn’t able to build into it like he did the start before.
We go again and will be in touch with an update on how he pulls up over the next day or so.

On Monday, Lochlan Hanover returned to the yard from the training track with a concerning wheeze. That same day, our vet performed a dynamic scope, which revealed inflammation and swelling that has been affecting his breathing. While his ongoing asthma treatments and sessions on the nebuliser have brought some relief, it has become clear that surgery is now the best path forward.
This wasn’t the plan for Lochlan’s breakout year, but like Kinda Lucky Lindy before him, Lochlan will undergo tieback surgery to help open his airway and restore full function. The good news is that his condition is not as severe as Lucky's was, meaning Lochlan is expected to be back on the track in around 4–6 weeks.
We’ve seen first hand the incredible transformation that surgery brought to Lucky and we’re confident that Lochlan will return even stronger, ready to chase down the big wins we know he’s capable of.
This is just a small detour on his journey. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to seeing Lochlan finish the year with the brilliance and power we've always believed in.
Kinda Lucky Lindy had a great workout on the track, doing ¾ pace work alongside Nymeria. Both horses clocked times just over two minutes, with Nymeria just extending a gap to the line. He travelled very well during the hit-out and closed off strongly, giving Nymeria a little cheek to the line.
We've seen a real change in Lucky's attitude and confidence, and we couldn't be happier about it. He's walking around the track and stable as if he owns the place. It's great to see - he's a different horse. We love it!
We're currently looking to place him in a suitable race. His win over the weekend means we'll need to move him up in class, but after what he produced last time out and his current form at Pocono, there's no stopping Lucky right now.
We'll be in touch once we've found the right race.
Kinda Lucky Lindy Delivers Statement Win at Pocono Downs
Kinda Lucky Lindy crossed the finish line at Pocono Downs today to a muted roar, one amplified across the digital airwaves of social media. The victory marked a milestone for Big Red Zoooming Bye, the equine cryptocurrency collective that is fractionalizing racehorse ownership under the guidance of trainer Travis Alexander. The group came together across platforms (X, Telegram, YouTube, and Arena) to stream their 10-year-old gelding’s latest triumph. And what a win it was. Since changing ownership in October, Kinda Lucky Lindy has steadily built momentum, but today's race posed his toughest challenge yet. The field featured two competitors with experience in the prestigious John Brennan Trotting Series, another who had competed at the Open level, and others dropping in class with strong times to their name. Driver Ridge Warren delivered a composed, tactical drive, helping Kinda Lucky Lindy overcome the odds. The performance left the Big Red Zoooming Bye ownership group elated and admittedly stunned, by the result. It hasn’t been a smooth road. After his acquisition last year, Lucky struggled to finish out the mile and was later diagnosed as needing tie-back surgery, forcing a significant layoff. His return at Yonkers proved difficult, with the tight half-mile track not suiting his style. But at Pocono Downs, the tide turned. In his last four starts at the Pennsylvania track, he has now recorded two wins and two placings, a remarkable resurgence. The win isn’t just a triumph for the horse, but a statement from a new breed of racing enthusiasts. Big Red Zoooming Bye isn't here to just take part, they’re here to take over. #RWA #HorseRacing #horse #BigRedZoomingBye
We're excited to announce that our next race is not all about earnings, but about giving back as well! Tomorrow, Kinda Lucky Lindy hits the track for charity again, alongside our partner @neiro, racing for a greater cause!

Ridge Warren to Drive Kinda Lucky Lindy in Pocono Downs Race 2
Driver Ridge Warren will take the reins of Kinda Lucky Lindy this Saturday in Race 2 at Pocono Downs, and we’re excited to have him onboard.
Warren has quickly established a strong rapport with the gelding, and the results speak for themselves, Lucky has finished second and third in his last two starts at Pocono.
Meanwhile, Matt Kakaley has chosen to drive Cassius Hanover in the same race, a decision we fully support. Cassius is a horse full of untapped potential, and whichever driver manages to unlock his abilities will undoubtedly enjoy a rewarding future with him.
We wish Matt the best of luck with Cassius, but we’re hoping Ridge and Kinda Lucky Lindy come flying over the top to claim victory at the line.
Ron Burke Aims for Historic Milestone at Meadowlands This Weekend
Trainer Ron Burke heads into this weekend’s Standardbred racing with the opportunity to accomplish a rare and impressive feat, breaking a track record for the third consecutive weekend. Burke’s stable has been in exceptional form, with two recent performances that have captured the attention of the racing world.
Two weeks ago at Woodbine, Burke’s charge, Louprint (by Sweet Lou), dominated the North America Cup, posting a remarkable 1:47.1 winning time. This victory solidified Louprint as a major contender and the favorite for the prestigious Meadowlands Pace.
The following weekend, Burke’s stable continued its winning streak, this time at The Meadows in Pennsylvania. Ronnie Wrenn, who had also partnered with Louprint, drove Birthday to the second-fastest time ever at the track, setting a new record for older pacers with a time of 1:47.4, all without pulling the earplugs!
Looking ahead, Burke’s hopes of continuing this remarkable run center around the Meadowlands this weekend.
Lochlan has come through his race last Friday in good order.
He’s been training well since, with his fitness improving following his asthma treatment. He’s got a great shine on his coat and has pulled up really well from last week’s run.
We're currently looking for a race that suits him. He’s been performing solidly but has been coming up against some very strong company in each of his starts. We're now aiming to find a confidence-boosting run to help take him to the next level.
The warmer weather over the past few days has helped dry out the tracks, so we should have some fast surfaces to work with.
Once we’ve accepted a race, we’ll be in touch with the details.
Lochlan Hanover hugged the rail early from PP#3 at Yonkers. As Fast Choice took over and slowed the pace, pressure mounted with a lap to go. Lochlan sat patiently before surging late between runners, finishing 6th behind strong rivals like Twisted Destiny, Monolete, and Dandy Ideal. Solid run in elite company—update to follow.
