P3- FINAL GAMBIT - Draws the same post as 2024 winner Mystik Dan.

P4 - RODRIGUEZ - Scratched ❌️

P5 - AMERICAN PROMISE - Blew away the field in the Virginia Derby. Looks like the penny might have dropped just at the right time.

P6 - ADMITE DAYTONA - Japanese raider. Winner of the UAE Derby & fourth in the Hyacinth Stakes

P7 - LUXOR CAFE - Japanese raider. Winner of the Fukuryu Stakes & Hyacinth Stakes in Japan.

P8 - JOURNALISM - Comes into the Kentucky Derby off the back of four wins, twice at Santa Anita, the San Felipe & the Derby.

P9 - BURNHAM SQUARE - Winner of the Blue Grass and has drawn well on the Churchill Downs dirt, a track he already knows.

P10 - GRANDE - Todd Pletcher trained which in itself demands respect. Should have a nice map - SCRATCHED ❌️

P11 - FLYING MOHAWK - An improver but unraced on this surface.

P12 - EAST AVENUE - The Blue Grass runner up and sired by Medaglia d'Oro, a successful sire at the track.

P13 - PUBLISHER - Never won a race but expect him to be flashing home late.

P14 - TIZTASTIC - Winner of the Louisiana Derby showing a turn of foot.

P15 - RENDER JUDGEMENT - Trainer Kenneth McPeek became the first trainer in history to win the Oakes & the Derby in the same year.

P16 - COAL BATTLE - Shown class at Stakes level with 3 wins. Jump up in class now.

P17 - SANDMAN - Won his last two at Oaklawn and an Arkansas Derby. Coming into form at the righ time.

P18 - SOVEREIGNTY - Finished second in the Florida Derby and a previous winner at Churchill Downs last October. The trainer also has form in the race, in 2019 with Country House.

P19 - CHUNK OF GOLD - Drawn wide and would need a personal best to win. Came second to Tiztastic.

P20 - OWEN ALMIGHTY - Tampa Bay Derby Winner will need luck from the wide post.

1AE - BAEZA - Finished second to Journalism in the Santa Anita Derby.
