India has imposed an immediate ban on the import and transit of goods originating from or exported via Pakistan, citing national security concerns after Pahalgam incident, Indian-administered Kashmir.
The move follows accusations against Pakistan, which Islamabad denies. In response, Pakistan has also blocked imports from India, halted border trade, and closed its airspace to Indian carriers.

Diplomatic tensions have risen, with cross-border firing reported along the Line of Control and warnings of military escalation. The situation has also sparked unrest within India, with increased violence against Kashmiris and Muslims amid calls for restraint.
