🚀Bitcoin for payments - stated the Deputy Director of the CIA🚀

The Deputy Director of the CIA, Michael Jayellis, stated in an interview with Anthony Pompliano that the CIA considers Bitcoin as a tool for making payments. He added that the CIA works closely with law enforcement to track illicit cryptocurrency payments made by malicious actors, whether they are drug cartels, terrorist groups, or rogue regimes.

Jayellis acknowledged that Bitcoin is a technological competitive area where the CIA must ensure that the United States is strategically positioned against China and other adversaries. He also argued that the United States must secure its leadership in the cryptocurrency sector internationally.

The agency's deputy believes that law enforcement and the intelligence community have the potential to use cryptocurrencies to track and disrupt adversary activities. He also stated that the virtual asset is a target, something that the CIA can "prevent our adversaries from using."

Bitcoin is here to stay. Cryptocurrencies are here to stay. As you know, more and more institutions are adopting them, and I believe it is a great trend, one that this administration has been enthusiastically promoting.

-Micheal Jayellis, Deputy Director of the CIA.
