"Pledging 10 Months and Losing $500,000, What is this Whale Betting On?"
A whale address staked 87,109 SOL and after 10 months earned 5,554 SOL in returns.
Recently, it finally unstaked 92,663 SOL, equivalent to about $13.51 million at current prices, but overall still has a floating loss of $500,000.
So the question arises: Is it for the compound logic of long-term holding? Or is there wavering confidence in SOL's mid-term trend?
The returns can't counteract the principal loss; this seemingly 'smart' long-term staking ultimately turned into a helpless stop-loss.
Do you support long-term staking for returns, or do you prefer flexible strategies of buying low and selling high?
