Airdrop ≠ Free Money: How Not to Get Caught by Scammers
Receiving airdrops has become a popular way to earn cryptocurrency. But not all "free tokens" are equally safe. Many are backed by schemes of deception, phishing, and theft of funds.
🛡 Main Security Rules:
Never share your seed phrase, private keys, documents, or card details — this is 100% fraud.
An airdrop that requires sending funds or purchasing a token is a trap.
Only share your wallet address and public social media accounts (X/Twitter, Telegram).
Check the project: official website, technical documentation, activity on GitHub.
Create a separate wallet for participating in airdrops. This is a simple protection against hacking.
Beware: fake websites, phishing on social media, and "generous offers" — tools of deception.
📌 Prefer projects with audits, open teams, and transparent reputations. Remember: if they promise "200$ just for signing up" — it is most likely a scam.
