#AirdropSafetyGuide How I Stay Safe While Hunting Airdrops — My Personal Checklist

Post Content:

Airdrops are great, but they come with risks — fake links, wallet thieves, and phishing scams. Here’s my personal security routine to avoid losing funds while hunting airdrops:

1. Use a separate wallet: I always use a dedicated wallet with no significant funds just for interactions with airdrops — this limits the damage if something goes wrong.

2. Avoid suspicious links: I never click on links from DMs or comments. I only use links from official sources, such as CoinMarketCap, project websites, or verified Twitter accounts.

3. Never share seed phrases: Legitimate airdrops NEVER ask for your seed phrase or private keys. If they do — it’s a scam, 100%.

4. Revoke unused permissions: I regularly visit revoke.cash to remove token approvals from old or risky contracts.
